God’s Destiny vs. Satan’s Plan for Your Life

How to Know the Difference

The Predestination Conundrum

Let’s talk predestination for just a sec, people read the verses in the bible about predestination and think they mean that God has only chosen a few of us special people for salvation. But that is not the case.  Do you know how I know?  It is simple. This one verse says it all…

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

God is holding back on the return of Jesus because He does not want ANYONE to perish, but He wants EVERYONE to turn to Him. Now let’s look at that fact in light of my favorite destiny verse.

Your Destiny Awaits

in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139:16

This isn’t a statement saying that God knows what you will do before you do it, although that is also true because He is sovereign. Or that he is making all these bad things happen to you.  No, this is so much more! This scripture states that God wrote with His very hand, in His own book, your days the way that He planned for you! Your perfect DESTINY written for you by a loving Creator. This is how all things work together for good for those that love God according to Romans 8:28. Because when we love and serve Him above all else, we enter into His story book, our perfect destiny where everything is working together for good.

When we say we love Him, but follow after or live of the world, then we are NOT living our destiny, we are outside of His story, living in enemy territory.

If we say we love Him but live worldly then we are actually outside of our DESTINY living in enemy territory. Click To Tweet

A Daily Choice

Seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first according to Matthew 6:33 is a day by day, sometimes minute by minute choice. But it is the only choice that keeps us in His perfect will for our lives.

Does a Perfect Life Exist?

Yes and no. The answer is that YES, when we place ourselves in the middle of His will then at the end of our life, we are part of His story that has worked for our good. But no, in this life we are subject to things from generations past, sin in the lives of those around us, and our own past sinful circumstances that will lead to pain. But YES again because in the midst of all of that, He is present and blesses us continually.  My life is so AWESOME regardless-because JESUS is everything and I get to be a part of everything He is doing. I even get to participate in setting others free from satan’s clutches and so can you! A life that seeks the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first is a life of miracles and daily supernatural happenings. Anything less and I promise, you are outside of His story for you.

Are You In or Out?-The Test…

Read through the chart below. Does your life feel like the left side or the right side? This list is not exhaustive, just a short but effective one listing some of my favorite blessings that come from serving Jesus. If you are unsure if the items on the left are yours, it’s time to ask yourself, “Why?” If your life feels like a a continual battle to just survive, again, ask yourself , “Why?”  Then seek Jesus and His Kingdom above all else to get on board with your perfect story that is written in His book. It is the greatest story ever told and you get to choose to be a part of it.

If you have been praying for healing  or breakthrough and are still waiting, this post is not meant to be condemnation-don’t let the enemy twist what I am saying to cause condemnation. According to scripture healing is ALWAYS God’s will for us, so the best way to understand why we haven’t yet received it is just to get closer to Him. The closer we are to Jesus, the more we know and understand.  The point of this post is to spur you on to seek Him and His Kingdom ABOVE ALL ELSE! Get on board with what He is doing in the world and how He wants you to be a part of it!  Yes you can ask for healing, but more than that-you can administer it to others in His name! Just seek to be near Him, to be more like Him and to be walking in the destiny that He has planned for you.  He will put all other things into place. (Matthew 6:33)
